Growing Aspirations
Super Group, a premier global online sports betting and gaming conglomerate, faced a challenge. They needed a workspace transformation that could support their high-growth strategy and enhance the employee experience.
Our history with Super Group traces back to 2015 when we revamped Betway's top-floor office. This 2021/22 project was our chance to help the Super Group’s expansion into Bordeaux Court's first floor.
A Canvas for Innovation
Our first hurdle was an office space craving modernisation. We used this opportunity to strip the space back to its core-shell, embedding modern well-building standards into our design recommendations.
We installed a raised access floor, removed the suspended ceilings, and placed bespoke acoustic panelling throughout the building, setting the stage for a vibrant, modern workspace.
Informed Design for Enhanced Performance
The best spaces are born of understanding people's needs. Armed with our unique 'Knowledge Worker' survey and deep dive workshops, we uncovered the functional and emotional needs of the Super Group workforce.
The findings steered us towards an open-plan 'hoteling' concept, accommodating both the 'Anchors', who prefer desk-based work, and the 'Connectors', who thrive on interaction.
Incorporating the 'Hoteling' Concept
Reflecting this 'hoteling' concept, we designed the reception area to mirror a hotel lobby. It became the office's vibrant heart - a space for staff to start their work 'journey'.
We incorporated biophilic design elements and Super Group's brand colours to uplift the atmosphere. Innovative meeting spaces, sound-absorbent pods, and rooms kitted out with cutting-edge technology ensured a balance of private and collaborative spaces.
A Workspace Transformation Well Received
The revamped workspace now exudes an energetic, productive vibe, and has been warmly received across the organisation. With well-being at its heart, it has also set the precedent for design across Super Group's global offices.
